Chemical Cleaning & Passivation

Heavy duty degreasing and deoxidiser liquid for stainless steel 300 series. Used for the removal of heavy oxidation with a light pickling effect. Applied by spray using an acid resistant sprayer. Can be diluted 1 to 1 with water. Product must be rinsed with chloride free water.

Electrochemical pickling is used after welding for two purposes. To remove thermal oxide from steel, and to dissolve the layer of chromium-depleted material in order to restore the corrosion-resistant properties of stainless steel. Rinse plentifully.
