R.C. PASS OX NW is an innovative liquid free of nitric acid. It is specially engineered for creating a monomolecular protective oxide film on the stainless steel surface. Stainless steel is corrosion-resistant by nature, which might suggest that passivating them would be unnecessary. However, stainless steels are not completely impervious to rusting. In actual practice contaminants such as shop dirt or particles of iron from cutting tools may be transferred to the surface of the stainless steel parts during machining. NO RINSE FORMULA.
